Ana Larrea-Albert is the Vice President of Marketing and Customer Experience for a European multinational in the maritime industry. She is the youngest, only American, only Latina and one of only two women in the company’s management team.

Ana Larrea-Albert has been named a Latina of Influence by Hispanic Lifestyle and nominated for the Everyday Hero Award by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Palm Beach County for the work she does empowering and equipping Latinas as President and Founder of the Latina Leadership platform NENANI. Throughout her career, Ana has found herself being the only Latina in the room, currently being the youngest, only American, only Latina and one of only two women in the management team. Her mission is to use her experience and knowledge to move the Latina representation needle in the higher echelons of corporate America and government.

In her current role, Ana built the company-wide Customer Care project from the ground up, including customer journey mapping, customer touchpoints, voice of customer processes and team training in Finland, France, Italy and the US. Previously, she worked in Sales and Marketing for Latin America at a multibillion-dollar medical device firm where she won the Marketer of the Year Award in 2011 for her initiatives in the Latin American market.

Ana was nominated for the Everyday Hero Award by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Palm Beach County in 2018 and was named a 2017 Latina of Influence by Hispanic Lifestyle for her work with the Latina leadership platform www.NENANI.com, where she features talented Latina leaders contributing to their communities. Under NENANI, she established the Future Latina Leaders mentoring program with Florida Atlantic University. Through workshops, coaching, mentoring and public speaking, she brings her experience and knowledge to students and professionals to help them grow in their leadership.

 

She received her Executive MBA degree in 2014 specializing in International Business and her undergraduate degree in Marketing in 2000, both from Florida Atlantic University. During her EMBA at FAU, Ana wrote and published award-winning research and presented it at national and international universities. She was born and raised in Quito, Ecuador, and speaks Spanish, English and French.

 

Ana currently serves on FAU’s Department of Marketing Executive Advisory Board and the FAU Alumni Association Board. Past roles include Advisory Board member of Think Freely Latino (TFL), a U.S. Hispanic and Latino outreach project based in Washington D.C.; Volunteer National Marketing Director, Board Member and Vice President Marketing of the Association of Latino Professionals for America’s (ALPFA) Miami chapter; and Chair of the Marketing Committee for the Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association (WISTA) USA’s chapter.

 

She is a speaker, moderator and panelist on topics including marketing, customer experience, personal branding, women/Latina leadership and empowerment at various national and international events such as the Women Maritime:Global Leadership Conference at the World Maritime University in Sweden; at NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) for the HOLA (Hispanic Outreach and Leadership Alliance) and KNOW (Kennedy Networking Opportunities for Women) event; at First Data for Hispanic Heritage Month; at Women Empower Expo; Keynote Speaker at FAU’s iLead 10th Annual Student Leadership Conference-Catalyst for Change, FL; Latina Conference 2017, CA; ICM South Florida Marketing Summit, FL; Latina Style Business Series in Miami, FL; among others.

 

Ana is also the author of the bilingual children’s book series ZeeZee Can / ZeeZee Puede, written to inspire children to dream big. The first book, ZeeZee Can Save the Planet / ZeeZee Puede Salvar el Planeta, encourages children to dream big and take actionable steps to care for our environment knowing they can already start creating impact in their own worlds. She has donated dozens of books to underserved schools across the US and Latin American. Because of her focus on women and Latina empowerment, all roles involved in publishing this book including the owner of the publishing house, editor, designer, and illustrator were held by women/Latinas.

 

Ana is a wife, a mother of a teenage boy and a fur baby. She resides in Florida.
